Jumbo Yellowtail Showing

DSC07624

Hello everyone;

Today things are starting to look a lot better.  Our morning was a bit slow, but by the late afternoon, we had good action on the larger Yellowtail.  Most of the Yellowtail were in the 30 to 40 pound range, and not that many under the 30 pound mark.

Our weather today was a bit windy, with 15 to 20 knots of breeze, and current going against the wind, made it a rock and roll day.

We released all the Calico Bass we hooked today.  Most of the bass were in the 4 to 6 pound range.  We will spend the night, and hope for a night bite on the Yellowtail, and start off here in the morning.
