After an action packed night of jigging Bluefin, we fished the same area hoping for similar results in the day time. Things were a lot slower today but we still managed some nice Bluefin and Yellowfin first thing in the morning and later in the afternoon.

Some excellent Bluefin Tuna fishing to be had last night! Aside from a two hour lull in the action right after midnight, we were stopping on fish all night long! They bit heavy vertical jigs very well. We are now trying for more Bluefin and Yellowfin in the same general area.

We had a great day of targeting quality Yellowfin and Bluefin tuna. We found the majority of our fish late in the afternoon and we are set in position to try tonight. TEAM RP

Last night on our travels up we were able to stop the boat a few times and manage a few more of those bigger Bluefin. Today we started fishing the beach just before lunch. We had steady rock fishing for a good part of the day. We are now heading up for home. TEAM RP

Yesterday we departed on our open party 3 Day Trip. We traveled all day yesterday and this morning so we could spend most of today trying for tuna. We had decent action on both Yellowfin and Bluefin Tuna for everyone. We are now fishing into the dark for a bit and will be trying somewhere…

Our group finished off tagging what they wanted on 14-25 pound yellowtail by 9 am. We spent the rest of the day working up in choppy weather. We made a few stops along the way and caught a few calico bass. TEAM RP

Spent half a day picking away at good grade yellowtail and then took off to start working up. TEAM RP

We caught a few trophies today in beautiful weather. Ended up with a 213, 222 and a 230. We also had one other fish around 176 pounds. TEAM RP

We spent the day working to get ourselves into position to try for big fish tomorrow. We did stop around lunch and caught some good grade yellowtail, a wahoo and had good fishing on 30-40 pound tuna which we saved for chunks. TEAM RP
