Hunting for Exotics
We had a few chances at wahoo today. We caught a few but overall wahoo remain tough to come by right now. We are traveling up in nice weather and will be fishing yellowtail tomorrow.

We enjoyed another nice day of yellowfin tuna fishing. We also tagged some bluefin tuna, yellowtail and dorado. It was breezy in the morning but laid down nicely by the afternoon.

We enjoyed a good day of yellowfin tuna fishing. The fish weighed anywhere from 25-40 pounds. We also caught some yellowtail, dorado and pargo. We’re sitting tight and hoping we can do it again tomorrow.

We spent the day traveling down in nice weather. After a tackle seminar in the morning everyone spent the rest of the day getting rigged up. We stopped briefly in the afternoon and caught some yellowtail which we sent into the galley for a future meal and then kept rolling down.

We departed yesterday morning on our annual Shimano sponsored 10 day trip. We spent the afternoon traveling south in nice weather. Our Shimano rep for the trip Joh Kuch brought out plenty of great gear for our passengers to use. Including some of G Loomis’s new IMX Pro rods and Shimano’s new talica reels.
