1/24 – Mas Photos
Nice Start
We got off to nice start and enjoyed a good day of tuna and wahoo fishing. The tuna weighed anywhere from 100-160 pounds and were caught on fly lined sardines and the kite. TEAM RP

We spent the day traveling south in beautiful weather. Everyone was able to loose the sweatshirts and jackets they have been having to wear over the past couple days…..except Ed. Passengers continue to work on their tackle, watch movies and relax. Tomorrow will be our last day of travel. TEAM RP

Most of our group pre loaded the afternoon of the 18th and we departed yesterday morning on our annual Jerry Brown Line One 18 passenger/18 day trip. We started off 2025 with a BANG! We are rolling up full in beautiful weather. We would like to thank our Taka’s Tackle Group for their support and look forward to doing it again in 2026. We ended up with 236 wahoo and 238 yellowfin tuna with the majority of the tuna weighing 120-150 pounds…

We finished the trip off with the first bluefin of 2025. The fish weighed 40-120 pounds and bit fly line sardines and sinker rigs. We also had good action on 20-40 pound yellowfin tuna which we released. We are now full and headed home in beautiful weather. TEAM RP
