Hello everyone; Well, the bite picked up today, with a fair number of 100 pound fish hitting the deck. The bite started around 07:30 hours, it wasn’t hot and heavy, but decent. The key ticket was to soak your bait, and use 80 pound test.

The bait that we were making during the trip payed off, as the larger baits started to work for us. As far as Yellowtail, we got one today, but the Yellowfin are keeping our passengers busy. We have now departed the area and are heading south, looking for something floating (kelping). Weather continues to be excellent, with a slight breeze to keep it cool.
