What An Ending

Hello everyone; Well what a finish to this trip. We had excellent fishing once again, with most of the Yellowfin? in the 80 to 120 pound range. If your coming out on a trip to the loop, you need to have 80 and 100 pound test fluorocarbon, 2/0 and 3/0 mutu hooks. We are looking for kelps today, and we found one, only a handful of Dorado on it. This afternoon we will be trying a few areas for Rockfish.

But after three days of pulling on 100 pound tuna, it’s hard to fish rockfish. Yellowtail fishing was tough this trip, but the one’s we did get were all over 30 pounds. Weather has cooled off some, but it’s still beautiful? out here. Overcast skies, flat seas.

We will arrive to Fisherman’s landing at 06:30 hours tomorrow morning, off load the fish, get’s some fuel and head off on another 6 day adventure. So until tomorrow, wish us luck. Team R/p

Wanted to say thank you once again for an amazing fishing experience. This was my first long range trip ever and quickly realized I was going to feel a big yellowfin and what happened was exactly that. I got my tail kicked in and was over matched. Dharyl and the crew was there to rescue me from losing it. All awhile teaching how to fish and keeping me safe. Let me say next year I will be way more prepared. The crew on the RP and Captain Roy Rose are second to none by a far margin. And the food & service even exceeds everything else. Food was amazing on every level, breakfast, lunch , snacks & dinner was absolutely delicious. The fun never stopped until the very end. Great group of anglers and I feel so blessed to have fished along side with them.Let me finish with this , Big D stole my heart as well as Little 75 yr old Robbie who put on a clinic for us all. Look forward to next years trip. Wait what about Sean’s epic catch aboard the Chi Chi 80hp. All the first responders and other veterans aboard I say thank you men for your service and god bless you all. Bent rods . Captain Roy you are appreciated very much. Blessings.
