Wahoo On The Bite
Hello everyone;
We arrived to our destination after lunch, started trolling, and it didn’t take long for the Wahoo to move in on our trolling lures. It was game on, with the skinny’s. Most of the Wahoo were in the 35 to 40 pound range, with a few going to 50.
We trolled for most of the afternoon, then the Yellowfin came into action. We started catching Yellowfin in the 50 to 80 pound range, on our Wahoo lures and bombs. It was time to put the anchor down, put out the kites, and get busy. With the Wahoo and Yellowfin all in the biting mood, so was the taxman. We would pay our taxes on Wahoo and Yellowfin, and as the sun started to set, so did our anglers.
It was time to get ready and do some Flying fish catching. With the moon almost in full, it would be a very tough night getting our flyers. We did manage to get a tank, and hopefully we will put them to good use tomorrow.
Weather today, was overcast, a bit chilly, and wind out of the northeast at 12 to 15 knots. Perfect for flying kites. Not much more to add, so until tomorrow, wish us luck. Team R/p
