Another Day At The Lagoon
Hello everyone; Well today was another great day at the lagoon. The morning was spent in the mangroves, but with the high tide, we didn’t see many of the low tide birds. We did a short walk, talked about some of the plant live, and still didn’t see the coyote. But there were lots of tracks.
After we excited the grove, we headed back to the boat, had a quick snack, and headed out for some more whaleling. Today the morning was better than the after noon. Lots of whales, all day, but the morning they were friendlier than the afternoon. I should say until everyone came back to the big boat.
We have a mother and calf just sticking next to the big boat. As I’m doing the report, they are still taking in all the attention. It’s almost been two hours, and they are still there. Tomorrow will be our last day in the lagoon, then we will start to head north, making a few stops at a few islands, weather permitting. Weather continues to be on the cool side, but the afternoon has been perfect. Not much more to say. Until tomorrow, team R/p.
