Yellowfin Tuna “WOW”
Hello everyone; What a day we had today. With the weather coming down, the sun shining, and boy did the fish bite. We didn’t have any jumbos, but we had a great day.
Our morning started out a bit slow, with very few fish showing, but we could see them off the bank. So around 11:00 hour hours, we went and checked out the bird school and boy did that pay off. It was a school of 70–90-pound biting Yellowfin tuna. They came up wanting to play and caught some of our anglers with their pants down. We had a massive tangle, one that I haven’t seen in years. But after the smoked cleared, we would land every fish that was in that tangle.
As the day went on, we would stop on different schools of fish, some 40-60 pound, and some 60-90 pounds. So today was a good day. We did have a couple of personnel best, and the showers will be adding up. We hope to repeat this tomorrow, and hopefully some jumbos will show up. So, until then, wish us luck. Team R/p
