When The Cow’s Come Home
Hello everyone; Well, the bite continues to be excellent in the morning hours, and very slow after lunch. The bite this morning was good on 170–334-pound Yellowfin tuna.
The bite started on the kite, as jumbo Yellowfin tuna inhaled bait from the kite. The first two flyers went out, and bang, the bite was on. The two lucky anglers with 300-pound Yellowfin today were Vladimir Kustudic, with a 328, Vladimir fish was on a fly line sardine and Gary Cotter, with a 334-pound Yellowfin tuna. and that fish was on the kite. This is his second fish over three hundred for this trip.
Honorable mention for today was John Yamate with a 250-pound Yellowfin tuna, and Eric Thomas, with a 205-pound Yellowfin tuna. We had many other fish in the 170 to 190 range, and one lone Wahoo.
Weather today was beautiful, with flat seas, slight overcast skies, and warm. We will try to make another tank of bait tonight, so wish us luck. Team R/p
