We had an awesome first day of fishing. The yellowfin tuna bit all day and the grade of fish was excellent. Most of the fish weighed 16 to 25 pounds with a decent amount of 40 to 60 pounders mixed in. Fly line was working best but they were also hitting the skip jig full speed. We caught a few yellowtail but didn’t put too much effort into that as we filled a well with tuna and had to move up bait to get our second well ready for tomorrow. We will be targeting yellowtail tomorrow so wish us luck. TEAM RP
