We departed yesterday on our annual Shimano sponsored 10 day trip. Shortly after breakfast Jonathan gave a tackle seminar and then our charter master Jon Kuch had nice raffle where some shimano talica reels, shimano teramar rods and a few shimano tackle bags were raffled off. Everybody also received a nice shimano grab bag. After the raffle the crew spent the rest of the day getting everyone set up for the fishing to come. Shimano also sent out Eighty G Loomis IMX Pro Offshore and Teramar rods and a variety of reels ranging from talica 12’s to 50’s, trinadads, tranx and saragosa spinning reels for passengers to use during the trip. Tomorrow we will be on the ridge trying for tuna and yellowtail. TEAM RP
